A & J Estate Sales is a full service estate sale company providing services to individuals that are selling their home for either downsizing, loss of a loved one, relocating, moving to an assisted living home, nursing facility or just selling to buy a new home.
An initial meeting with the Client shall be held to determine the necessary time frame for preparations prior to the Estate Sale and to address general questions. Our service frees your energy and time from details involved in what you are leaving behind and allows you to focus on your future.
To complete the sale in a timely manner, we ask that you call us far enough ahead to give us time to prepare and conduct your sale efficiently. Plan to allow two weeks for preparation and one week to conduct the sale.
First you will need to identify all items you want to keep which may include apparel, jewelry, furniture, household goods, patio furniture, garage items, and antiques. We can help you determine what items you wish to keep, donate, sell, and/or discard.
We will be fully responsible for coordinating, staffing and preparing the estate sale. Our team:
At the end of each day, you will be called with a progress report for the day's event. Within 10 days of the final sale date, the client will receive a summary report detailing all the items that were sold, a copy of all the itemized receipts including any additional services fees and a check from the gross funds less the company's commission.

- Reviews the inventory (determining between retail and wholesale prices)
- Pricing each item (research web to assure that we get the most for each item)
- Duties (emptying cupboards, clean-out draws and closets)
- Staging (provides all supplies-tables, display cases, racks, etc.)
- Sale day (greets, assists, wraps and packages small items)
